QHSE Officer – The MSI Group
Job Purpose:
The QHSE Officer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the Company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management System. This role involves ensuring safe systems of work and safe behavioral practices across the organization. The QHSE Officer provides guidance and support to maintain and continually improve safety culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and improve QHSE management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD-SF.
- Communicate QHSE Management System information throughout the organization and promote HSE awareness through various channels.
- Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as required.
- Conduct QHSE inspections internally and with third-party contractors, ensuring timely follow-up on preventive and corrective actions.
- Develop and review QHSE risk assessments in consultation with the operations team.
- Record QHSE key performance indicators monthly and issue reports for continuous improvement.
- Promote a behavioral-based safety culture through safe job observations and top management inspections.
- Perform daily walkthroughs in facilities to monitor and promote a safe workplace.
- Participate in HSE incident investigations and prepare reports in consultation with management.
- Act as the representative in all relevant QHSE meetings and seminars.
